It turns out that all cancers have similarities when they spread to other parts of the body from their primary site. And that may give us a tool to stop it.

A new study from the University of East Anglia demonstrates how a naturally occurring protein keeps cells put in their intended place and how a rogue cancer gene destroys that protein allowing the cancer to spread. The next step is to stop that gene from functioning. That would dramatically change the treatment of all cancers. Wow.
