Advanced Endoscopic Surgery

Nasal and sinus conditions related to chronic sinusitis, nasal polyps and chronic nasal obstruction can be relieved through endoscopic surgery.  We utilize advanced image guidance technologies and 3D imaging in real time during surgery, enhancing both accuracy and safety.  We apply this technology in Septoplasty and Turbinate Hypertrophy, Balloon Sinusplasty, Nasal Polyp surgery and other procedures.

AERA Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation

Patients suffering from Eustachian tube blockages can now benefit from a new procedure called AERA Eustachian Tube Balloon Dilation.  Your physician will use a small catheter to reach the Eustachian tube, and will then inflate a small balloon to open the tube. The catheter and balloon are then removed, and the Eustachian tube remains open and able to function more normally.

Balloon Sinuplasty

Chronic sinus problems that don’t improve through non-surgical options can often be relieved through a Balloon Sinusplasty.  Through this procedure, a small catheter containing a balloon will be inserted into the sinus cavity.  Once in place, the balloon is inflated, helping to open the sinus passageways.  After the catheter and balloon are removed, the sinus passageways remain open, making it easier to breathe and providing symptom relief.

PROPEL^® Sinus Stent

Individuals undergoing surgery for sinusitis can benefit from a breakthrough treatment called the PROPEL^® Sinus Stent.  PROPEL is a dissolvable stent that is placed into the sinus cavity at the end of the surgical procedure.  The stent helps to open the nasal passageway, while at the same time providing anti-inflammatory therapy that helps enhance healing. Over time, the stent will simply dissolve on its own.
